I have been using Andersen for 17 years now. They originally installed our furnace in our then new home, and recently... installed a new replacement. Julie has been our service tech for many years now coming twice a year. Always on time and very professional and knowledgeable. Love her. Omar and Elvis installed our new unit. Again, on time, professional, on an excellent job. No flashy “Bobby” or singing techs on TV (who do you think pays for those glitzy guys), but professional service always.read more

Andersen was such a pleasure to work with, especially when having to make a purchase that isn't "fun money" to spend.... Where to start: Hector examined the whole system to let us know what we would need, how to get rebates through our energy company and spoke highly about the company he works for (love the pride!). Omar and Elvis were thorough, efficient, quiet(we currently have to work from home so this was a nice add!), polite, and walked me through all the new stuff that was installed. They made sure we were on board with the placement of our new vent before making the improvements. All around a great team! Also wanted to mention that Lauren in the office was very quick to respond to my original email inquiry and my phone calls (it was a big purchase so I had questions). Very pleasant experience and now I have a cool house! I recommend Andersen!read more

We have been clients for 14 years and recently had work done to adjust dampers. When we were concerned about the... repair the day after, Andersen dispatched Darrell to troubleshoot and analyze the problem. I cannot say enough good things about Darrell's service. He looked over all of the HVAC, showed me how all of it worked and what was going on with it, and provided a professional assessment of the situation. He helped us to see that the repair had been done properly, but to help us with ongoing comfort, he went above and beyond to make small adjustments to the system. We will plan to stay with Andersen ongoing - the service is worth it!read more

I don't know where I should start. I have been using them for the last 3-4 years to maintain my HVAC system. In the... past everything was fine. I have an older system and they did recommend that I replace it soon. But it was still working fine so I didn't want to invest the money until It was completely dead. last week they came by to do the 6 month service and said I had no refrigerant in the system, and that I must have a leak somewhere. I asked how much it would cost to replace the refrigerant and he said that 1-3 pounds was like $350 and 3-6 would be $450 range. I can't remember the exact price and he said 7-10 would be $550. I asked him to please do not go above 6lbs because with everything going on things are very tight for me since I am not working. He told me he had to put 7lbs in it and that there is a large leak and it probably wouldn't last through the season. I asked if they could add leak stop since he noticed a leak. He told me that those things void the warranty and they they do not use them. I said that's fine and had to go somewhere locally to find it and add the leak stop myself. While I was there I told the gentleman what happened and he told me that if I could hear the leak there probably wouldn't be anything left when I get back. Sure enough when I got back after only an hour after the service man left my house I no longer heard the leak. All the refrigerant was already gone. I can't believe the service man didn't let me know that maybe it wasn't a good idea to spend the money on replacing the refrigerant until the unit was fixed or the leak sealed first. If he had any integrity. He would have at least stopped and informed me what's going on before I wasted $550 of money I already don't have to spend. I am so upset. Now I have to find a way to repair the system and then have to spend even more money replacing all the refrigerant that was lost. I also found out later that the price for the refrigerant is more than double what it should cost. That man was more concerned will selling me stuff and making my bill as high as possible and not what would be best for a loyal customer. He tried getting me to replace all these useless things while he was there saying that a dang light bulb in the system needed to be replaced among other things. Are you serious? A light bulb in a place where no body ever goes? Just shows the only thing he was thinking about was himself and how much he can sell. Now I am stuck with a broke down AC unit, with no means to fix it and wasted so much money and all he had to do was say hey maybe its not a good idea to add the refrigerant until that leak is fixed or the unit replaced completely. I feel so taken advantage of and in this happening during a global pandemic where I am not even working really is sad that they would do this to me.read more

Omar and Elvis did a great job installing the purchased equipment. Pleasant and always keeping things clean and... efficient. They even found a couple of things our previous vendor did wrong and we were able to get that corrected. We recently had to have our unit... replaced and their team was very thorough in explaining the various options, the differences in efficiency and price and our financing options. After 12 years I had to replace my AC unit. I reviewed three ac and heating companies and decided to stick with... Andersen heating and air. We have been customer of Andersen for more than 25 years so having a trusted company such as Andersen was a Huge plus. They explained all options and configurations. They did oversell and allowed us to make an informed decision. They day of the installation went as scheduled. They sent one their top engineers with over 25 years of experience. Outstanding and professional service by Omar and Andres, would absolutely recommend for any heating & cooling needs.... They quickly completed the installation of returns in several bedrooms and relocated a thermostat whilst answering all of my questions, ranging from seasonal temperature specifics to airflow optimization. Omar was the lead on the day of our installation. He was so well groomed and polite that I looked around to see if... there was a camera crew about to ask if it was okay to film their work. Omar was professional, articulate and through in making me aware of the plan for the day. He observed the area for the installation and then informed me of the plan. Omar also reviewed with clarity the financial aspects of the business at hand for the completion of the installation. He and Elvis worked efficiently and diligently to complete the task in less than the estimated time table. This included the new thermostat and a couple of carbon monoxide detectors. Andersen doesn't use any high-pressure sales tactics. They offer options to meet your needs.Installation was handled flawlessly by two very professional installers, Omar and Elvis. Jake and Nelson have been out to service or a/c units recently and they are always on time, friendly and great at... explaining the work they are performing. We’ve been dealing with Andersen for 7 years now and every tech has been great and knowledgeable. We are under a service contract through 2020 and they have proactively replaced parts that they believed were going to go out near term instead of waiting for the unit to go down and then making the replacements. Great all around experience!read more

I had an issue with my furnace my old HVAC company failed to find. Andersen came in, located the problem and replaced... my furnace, all within a couple of days. Everyone I dealt with were friendly, professional and not at all pushy. I got a very competitive price and all the details were explained clearly. I would recommend calling them if you have any issues.Our second unit went a year later, almost to the year. I called out Andersen again. They came on Saturday (no supplemental charge) and by Monday evening I had a new system installed. Everyone who came to the house were polite and friendly. They were very respectful of the house and even vacuumed up debris before leaving. I am very impressed with the level of service and the fair pricing.read more

Called at 715 pm tonight temps in the 30s woth no heat the last two nights. Shortly after a request for the on call... tech, got a call from Micheal. He patiently walked me through the steps to determine what my issue was. Resolved it and got me heat within a few minutes. Cant say enough about this guy. Whatever he is making, it should be more! We have owned our home for 16 years, Andersen Heating & Cooling installed the initial system when we built our house.... We have used them ever since day one and maintained an annual service contract with them. It was time to upgrade this year to a new system. Start to finish this has been a very good experience. Jake, Andre and Tyler were the install crew for the new dual system. They arrived as scheduled with a call prior to coming. They were extremely professional, listened and answered questions along the install process. They gave updates through the process and were very neat as far a clean up, etc. Jake followed up after install and came back the next day to make sure everything was working properly as well they did not miss anything. I highly recommend Andersen Heating & Cooling, particularly Jake and his team.read more

I recently needed some help with my old, outdated duct work so I contacted Andersen Heating & Cooling. Andersen has... provided quality installs and services for my family over the years, but this tear out and replace was going to be a job. I spoke over the phone with Jake and explained what my needs were. Later that day, Jake and I were inspecting the job and confirming those needs. During the visit, Jake quickly diagnosed a few issues that I had , but he also stated that my units were in good shape and that I could rely on them for a few more years. I never felt pressured by Jake.Jake contacted me, gave me a quote and scheduled the install just a few days later. He confirmed the appointment the day before and showed up on time. Andersen completed the job in just 2 days and did a great job with cleaning up the working space.We appreciate their professionalism, their honesty and the fact that they do what they say their gonna do. We are very pleased with our service and will continue to call upon Andersen for all our mechanical needs. Highly recommend!!!read more

Jake and Tyler did a great job replacing the air handler upstairs. The part was still under warranty and Anderson... worked with Lennox to ensure they received the correct part. Within 5 minutes of the installation I could tell a big difference in the temperature upstairs. Great job. We are switching from another company in the area to Anderson.read more
